About me

I’m Daniel Franey, a front-end developer at Shropshire Council with over a decade of design experience under my belt. I enjoy tackling every aspect of design, from pixel-perfect graphics to seamless user experiences. My formal training began with studying Graphic Design from the University of Chester, giving me a solid foundation that still guides my work today. In addition to my full-time role, I’m excited to take on freelance projects through Franey.Design and bring fresh creativity to each one.

Life & Inspiration

I’m now based in Aberystwyth, having relocated in 2022 to be with my now-fiancée. Although I still visit family and friends in Shropshire regularly, the sea breeze here keeps me inspired. When I’m not working, I clear my mind with runs along the Aberystwyth seafront or sessions at the gym. These routines do wonders for my mental well-being and often spark new design ideas.
